NIR Generator Van







Brake Corridor Standard Generator Van.
Built in 1969 at BREL at Derby Litchurch Lane works to MK 2B design.
Converted generator van upon sale to NIR
The sets had a single generator van converted from a Mark 2 BFK that were purchased and converted in 1981.
One Detroit 8V-71 N TD2 engine of 234 hp at 1575 rpm with a Markon B range alternator.


The sounds for the generator car are on a separate FX decoder sold separately.
These sounds can be operated separately or in conjunction with the NIR class 111 and NIR class 201function buttons as long as both the locomotive and generator car are on the same address’s.


The sounds have been enhanced with archived sounds.
