GE/LNER/BR Class B12

Holden built the S69 class (which later became LNER Class B12) from 1911 the last being produced by the LNER in 1928.
They were enlarged versions of the successful D15 & D16 Class (Claud Hamiltons) and worked mostly on expresses from Liverpool St Station in London to East Anglia.
After WWII some locomotives were transferred to Scotland and could be found working on the Ex GNOSR and NB lines from Aberdeen.


BR number series 61500-61580
Last Locomotive withdrawn in 1961.
