BR Standard 4. 4-6-0
The British Railways 4-6-0 Standard 4 locomotives were a lighter version of the Standard 5s.
Introduced in 1951 they could be found on the Southern, Western and Midland regions of the BR system. Used on cross country passenger workings their weight allowed them access to routes that had a weight restriction on the heavier classes of locomotive.
22 of the class were fitted with double chimneys

BR number series 75000-75079.
Last Locomotive withdrawn in 1968.
6 have been preserved.

The Std 4 sounds have been recorded from the prototype.

Not all functions are available on all locomotives.
