GCR/LNER/BR J11
Introduced in 1901 Robinson of the Great Central Railway designed these locomotives for general freight work a quantity of 174 were built up to 1911.
All were taken into British Railways stock in 1948, they could be found on general freight work as well as occasional passenger trains especially on summer Saturdays.
They could be found working from Immingham, Neasden, Wrexham, Barnsley and places in-between.


BR Number series 64280-64453.
The last locomotive was withdrawn from BR stock in 1962.
None have been preserved.

The J11 sounds are generic as there are none in preservation.
