Caledonian/LMS/BR 3F Class 812 (Jumbo)
These 0-6-0 locomotives were built for goods trains of the Caledonian Railway.
Designed by MacIntosh these 79 locomotives were a development of the Drummond 294 class.
British Railways received 76 of the locomotives in 1948.
The range of operation was from Carlisle to Oban, and Ayr to Edinburgh a few locomotives were later shedded at Wick, Helmsdale Inverness and Aviemore.

BR No. Series 57550-57628
Last locomotive withdrawn in 1963.
1 has been preserved.

The 812 class sounds have been recorded from the prototype.
