Autotrailer Projects & Functions.

Wheeltappers have developed the Autotrailer sound files to be as prototypical as possible.
We do however appreciate that this will not satisfy everyones needs.

The 5 main class’s of locomotive auto fitted for use with the Autotrailer’s are:
GWR 1400, GWR 4800, GWR 4575, GWR 5400 and GWR 6400.

There are however other locomotives that were fitted as and when required.

We have developed a single Autotrailer and Autotrailer combinations all on one decoder.

The decoder will come defaulted as a single Autotrailer, assuming that the Autotrailer is coupled to the locomotives bunker end.

Alternatively two Autotrailer’s assuming that the locomotive is sandwiched in the middle with Autotrailer’s at either end.

Functions as standard are default single Autotrailer, F27 sandwiched loco with Autotrailer each end.

F26 will turn off the single Autotrailer and the locomotive will be back to a standard none Autotrailer locomotive.

Depending on the configuration certain function buttons have a dual purpose.

F2 and F3 will act as whistles and gongs depending on direction and Autotrailer configuration and plain whistles when not in Autotrailer mode.

F4 Buffer clash and coupling will not work in Autotrailer mode.

F11 will act as stop buzzer/bell signal to driver depending on direction and Autotrailer configuration and wagon buffer clash in none Autotrailer mode.

F13 will act as start (RA) buzzer/bell signal to driver depending on direction and Autotrailer configuration and water tower when in none Autotrailer mode.
