Baguley-Drewry 70hp Diesel Narrow Gauge.
In 1911 Baguley Cars Ltd. were set up to produce locomotives.
Their Burton Upon Trent business started by specialising in internal combustion and did not build their first steam locomotive until 1919.
In 1923 the company name was changed to Baguley (Engineers) Ltd.
Baguley’s produced steam, diesel, and petrol locomotives many for narrow gauge railways.
One of their most popular products was the 70hp narrow gauge locomotive used in quarries, in ordnance factories, chemical works, and industrial complexes.
Some were built as steam outline for tourist railways.
