LNER/GNR/BR O2 (Tango)
Designed by Gresley of the Great Northern Railway for heavy fright work these 3cylinder locos were introduced in 1921with production continuing up to 1943 in total 67 were built.
From 1932 onwards new locos were fitted with side window cabs, the originals had plated sides to their cabs.
In 1943 some of the class were rebuilt by Thompson with the same boiler as fitted to the B1s becoming class O2/4.
The locomotives could be found from Doncaster to Frodingham, March, London and Barnsley working on freight mainly coal and mineral trains.

BR Number series 63921-63987
The last locomotive was withdrawn from BR stock in 1963.
None have been preserved

The LNER 02 (Tango) sounds are generic as none have been preserved.
