NIR Class 201





Northern Ireland Railways purchased 2 of these locomotives in 1995 for use on the Belfast – Dublin service.
These locomotives also named after Rivers were pooled with the IE group and have on occasion been seen South and West of Dublin.
Renumbered to 8208 and 8209, now carrying the European numbering system and repainted into the new Enterprise livery

The projects for the NIR class 201 have been developed with the option of sound in the generator car.
The sounds for the generator car are on a separate FX decoder sold separately HERE.
These sounds can be operated separately or in conjunction with the NIR class 201 function buttons as long as both the locomotive and generator car are on the same address’s.
